Sunshine Keys with Brent and Jill

Brent and Jill are here!  Woohoo!

To quote them, “Most people photo bomb, we vacation bomb.”  Funny and true.  We had only planned to see them in Galveston.  Those two crazy kids decided to join us in the Florida Keys!

They rented a waterfront trailer only a few sites down from ours, and arrived right at sunset.  Hugs all around, dinner, a little wine, then hugs goodnight.

In the morning we shared cups of coffee, and ventured over to check out their site.  It was really quite nice, with room to spread out.  The two bedroom trailer was nicely outfitted with linens, basic kitchen supplies, hotel style bathroom amenities, with the addition of the cutest travel sized dishsoap and sponge in the kitchen.  A pretty decent set-up, if you ask me.

Morning coffee at their trailer on the beach.

Love these two!

What happened at the base of this palm, and how is it still standing?

The bromance continues!

Photo op!

Goofballs

This very friendly kitty showed up. To me, it was obvious she was feral. I named her Ringworm.

Before packing up to head down to Key West, we strolled through our campground to get a look at the place.

Never did find out who “Lee” was.

Tropical fish at the walkway to the small fishing dock.

These type of signs are really popular in the Keys.

One of the full-time residents of Sunshine Key really likes to express themselves.

Next stop:  Key West!
