There’s something special about the first day on the road when leaving for a long trip. The anticipation of adventures ahead, the settling in behind the wheel, or in my case, raising the footrest of my recliner and at last being able to gaze out the expansive windshield. But, seriously folks, it’s mostly the relief that the exhausting preparations are finally DONE.
